As a department we strive to mould highly skilled engineers in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering that are suitable for employment in reputed firms and for higher studies. The department caters to the ever increasing needs of technical brilliance in all areas of Electrical and Electronics Engineering such as integrated Electronics and Circuits, Telecommunications, Control & Automation, Power Systems & Power Electronics.
The primary objective of the Department is to produce globally competent engineering graduates with values, a sense of responsibility and good communication skills. The department aims to develop the graduates' skills in areas such as Power Systems, Microcontrollers, Renewable, Smart Grids, Signal Processing, Electric Vehicles and data analytic software etc. To achieve this goal, the department has a team of highly qualified, committed and self-motivated teachers with varied experience in academics, industry and research organizations. The department constantly updates its infrastructure facilities, expertise, and research domains in consonance with current industry trends. We have also introduced interdisciplinary courses with emphasis on skill and competency building along with core knowledge. As per new education guidelines we focus on outcome-based education that involves hands-on experiential learning. Our Graduates work in Government sectors, private companies, as consulting engineers and as entrepreneurs in the field of research, design, projects, production, maintenance and testing etc
